This is what exactly the effect of Web 2.0. Malayalam is my native language, spoken by more than 35o million people. I found it so amazing and thrilling, to see the words in malayalam depicted in the facebook pages. It was the similar effect when you read a malayalam news paper. Thanks to the people, who sincierly contributed to this.
I did one additional job, I installed an indic malayalam transliteration tool provider by Google. Go to http://www.google.com/transliterate/indic. This is a translator for many indic languages. You can type the content there and paste it where you want it to be displayed. One another method is by click on the link ‘Use transliteration in any website’. This link will guide you to a web page, which provides the steps in setting up the transliteration.
I remember, when book exhibition was conducted at Kottayam, a team of developers of a Malayalam font was selling a font for Rs. 200., This was the story 10 years old. Now I can type malayalam anywhere in the web, read the contents in my mother tounge. To conclude : അങ്ങിനെ ഇവിടെ മലയാളത്തില് ടൈപ്പ് ചെയ്യാം..

http://www.google.com/transliterate/indic. while trying to go to thi site showing sorry………..why?

@Pravin, It is possible to type in any website. Malayalam is supported by Unicode16 format. Click on this link http://t13n.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/blet/docs/help_hi.html. This describes the complete steps so that you can use as mentioned before. I would suggest to use Chrome too.
